Kelton's Birthday

Kelton turned the big double digit 10 on August 11th. We were mean parents and played a dirty trick on him. We bought him a cap gun that was a rifle, and some real pellets. We gave him the pellets, he opened them and and he thought that was preatty cool. Then we gave him a the cap gun rifle, and watched him open it. When he opened it he looked at us like we were crazy. We told him that we thought we got him a real pellet gun. He looked at like we were stupid. After a little while we gave in and told him there was another a present underneath our bed he had to go get. He went and got it and brought it up and opened it. He got his very first gun. It is a pellet gun that can also shoot BB's. He thinks he is pretty hot stuff. He's already trying to outshoot his dad.

Bailey's Barrel Racing

This year Bailey is the only one that has done really well in the Barrels. She went to Salina Utah in July, and brought home some wonderful prizes. She won a beautiful jacket that is all embroidered on the back. She also won a laundry basket that was embroidered on it as well. She won enough money she bought herself a breast collar for her horse, and asked me to put rinestones on it. She wanted pick rinestones and silver rinestones. I'll have to get a picture at put it on here. I'm just proud of her she has done really well this year. This picture is her on her horse Celiene. They get along so well.

Bailey's Barrel Racing

Bailey loves running barrels. She used to have a horse named JR. He done a wonderful job for her, but he got really sick and we had to put him down. But the amazing thing about this horse was he had cateracts on his eyes and he couldn't hardly see. The only thing he could see was shadows, but some how he was still able to run barrels for her. He would give her his all. In 2006 she won her first saddle, it was so exciting.
