NBHA Western Nationals

Well another year at Western Nationals. Its fun but it makes it a long weekend. I thought Bailey did wonderful. She had a little trouble on her first run, she hit the second but I told her to forget about it go to the next race. So she came out on her youth run and did very well. Her and Celiene came out and ran a 14.758. She ended up winning 5th place in the 1D in the youth. My mom ran the barrels also but just like Bailey she hit a barrel. Oh well there is always tommorrow. They just need to forget about their runs in the open today and go out and run a good run tommorrow. I will keep you updated. I have to thank the Moyes family for coming over and watching my Mom and Bailey run the barrels they are the sweetest people.

YES I HAVE THE INTERNET

It's been along time since I have had the internet. Well here is just a little update. We are all still alive up here in Idaho. Bailey & Kelton are playing baseball this summer they are having so much fun. Their team is undefeated so far. Ryan is playing on a softball league over in Pocatello for Petersen's, he's having tons of fun also. As for me I just can't wait for it to stop raining up here so I can go riding my horse.

Ice Fishing

Well we went ice fishing the first time ever in our whole entire lives. It was different than regular fishing. Those stinkin little fish are quick. You really have to pay attention to your bobber otherwise they will just eat your bait and take off without getting caught. We didn't catcher any keepers but we had fun trying to. Ryan caught a couple little perch and Bailey was the only one to catch a blue gill. I've heard they are the hardest to catch they are the bait stealers. I caught one perch, poor Kelton didn't catch anything but he had tons of little bites. But never could catch the little stinkers, they were to quick. But overall we had fun, we will hopefully do it again this year.

Skiing

We went skiing on the 20th of Febuary. It was the experience that I will never forget. It was fun.

WE CAN OFFICALLY HUNT

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! QUIT WERE TAKING A VERY IMPORTANT TEST!!!!
Well they had field day today for hunter education today. They both passed their written test. Today they had to do the field day. They had to shoot at a target, and then go on a walk and show the instructor that they knew how to handle a gun. We are so proud of both of them. We are so pumped now we can take the kids and go hunting. It was kind of miserable out at the range. It snowed and it was really foggy, and cold. It was the only Saturday that it had snowed in a couple of weeks. I felt bad for all the kids. But they were all little troopers.

Learning To Ski

Bailey & Kelton went skiing the other day with their school. Neither one of them knows how to ski but they taught them how to. The bad thing is that Bailey and Kelton has fallen in love with skiing. I should rephrase this Bailey is learning how to ski. Kelton on the other hand is learning how to snowboard. Now they keep bugging Ryan and I to take them up to Pebble Creek and go skiing and snowboarding.

BASKETBALL

The kids are playing Basketball this year. They never had played basketball before, and I think they are doing an awesome job for never playing before. Today they had their first game. It has been a long day, but is was well worth it. Bailey's game was at 9 this morning and Kelton's was at 12 this afternoon in Arimo. They both won their games today is was awesome to watch they both worked really hard at it.
