Fishing

Well we went fishing at Weston Idaho. It was Ryan, Kelton, Derek (a guy from Ryan's work) and me. It was Kelton's first time float tube fishing. He had a ball. Between all four of us we caught 97 Perch and 1 large mouth bass. Kelton caught 2 Bass the first one was 14 1/2 inches, and the second was 12 1/2 inches. He had to throw them back, because we could only keep the ones that were under 12 inches and over 16 inches. The reason is they are the spawning fish. We had a lot of fun.

Good memories

Just bringing back the good old days. When Ryan & I were both running the barrels. This picture was taken Caliente NV. It was one of the funniest barrel races we have been to. Just some good memories. Ryan was riding Fancy, and I was riding Sly.

Salina Results

Well the kids are back home. Bailey did really well on Saturday. She ended up winning some money which is a good thing. Now she can pay for the next barrel race in August. Bailey won 4th in the 3D, and in the 18/40 she won the 3D. I am so proud of her. My mom was just out of the money on Saturday, and she hit a barrel on Sunday. Kelton on the other hand went around Salina and found Crystals. He told me he didn't find to many. They went swimming everyday they were down there. It sounded like they had a blast. Well just one more race down there this summer. Then were done going to Salina for this year till next year comes around. The picture I added is a picture of Bailey on the Grey horse, on the Bay is my mom.

Enjoying The Summer

Well finally no rain. I can't believe it. We were outside all day long today. The kids and Ryan were playing frisbee, & tossing the football. We hung up a hummingbird feeder today. I can't believe how many hummingbirds we had today. I was lucky to catch one picture of one of the little birds. They are so tiny. Our horses are in heaven they are turned out behind our house eating the grass. They have had to learn the hard way about the electric fence that is around the pasture. Mystery has been zapped a couple times were sis is now avoiding the fence all together. She figured out it hurts when you touch it.

NBHA Western Nationals

Well another year at Western Nationals. Its fun but it makes it a long weekend. I thought Bailey did wonderful. She had a little trouble on her first run, she hit the second but I told her to forget about it go to the next race. So she came out on her youth run and did very well. Her and Celiene came out and ran a 14.758. She ended up winning 5th place in the 1D in the youth. My mom ran the barrels also but just like Bailey she hit a barrel. Oh well there is always tommorrow. They just need to forget about their runs in the open today and go out and run a good run tommorrow. I will keep you updated. I have to thank the Moyes family for coming over and watching my Mom and Bailey run the barrels they are the sweetest people.

YES I HAVE THE INTERNET

It's been along time since I have had the internet. Well here is just a little update. We are all still alive up here in Idaho. Bailey & Kelton are playing baseball this summer they are having so much fun. Their team is undefeated so far. Ryan is playing on a softball league over in Pocatello for Petersen's, he's having tons of fun also. As for me I just can't wait for it to stop raining up here so I can go riding my horse.
